Meet the mimosa family

Lilli

founder | director of Design

The basics: Lilli founded Mimosa in 2010 and has grown her business from buckets in her living room to our current studio (that we’re outgrowing). She has a passion for creating a cozy family environment for her team and loves designing over the top installations. The point person for Garden Rose and Peony clients, she guides everyone through their initial consultations, creates amazing design inspiration boards, and is there for any questions or design changes along the way to the final sample meeting.

Top Hobby: Netflix and a pint of non-dairy ice cream

Spirit Animal: Otter

Favorite drink (other than a Mimosa): Anything on the speciality cocktail menu

production manager | lead designer

The basics: Jillian jumps in at Garden Rose and Peony client’s final sample meeting to make their inspiration board come to life. From there, she oversees the production of every event to make sure all of the arrangements are just as beautiful as the sample and finally leads the design of most on site installations. She is the organization master that keeps the studio in working order on 9 event weekends and manages all freelance staffing to make sure your event is fierce and smooth.

Top Hobby: Travel (34 countries and counting) or tattoos (unclear number)

Spirit animal: Some sort of large cat that likes to swim

Favorite drink (other than a Mimosa): Green juice with lots of ginger!

The basics: The newest member of the Mimosa family, Sally is the go-to gal for all of our Sweet Pea and non-wedding events. She works with clients from the initial consultation to final meeting to make sure their day is going to be exactly what they’d imagined.

Top Hobby: Watching soccer - go Tottenham Hotspur!

Spirit Animal: Bodega Cat

Favorite drink (other than a Mimosa): Hal’s Coffee Seltzer

The basics: The original Mimosa employee, Stanley has been around for it all. He is a walking inventory database (seriously- he knows all of our inventory off the top of his head), prankster, and the guy that manages the clean up after your event to make sure everything gets back to the studio safe and sound.

Top Hobby: Hookah and TV

Favorite drink (other than a Mimosa): An extra crispy Pepsi

The basics: A true production magician, Noel works at lightening speed to clean and prep rentals for events, process flowers, and make sure the studio stays clean and tidy.

The basics: Katie is the main face you see when you come in to the store for a bouquet or anniversary arrangement. Along with managing the retail studio, she is the person you will be in contact with prior to wedding or event consultations and is always up for a laugh or making a coffee run.

Top Hobby: Previously reading, now changing her son’s diapers

The basics: Ashlen is our studio and production fairy. She works on getting the hard goods ready for events and is one of the friendly faces helping walk-in customers in our studio. She always keeps the mood light singing and dancing during the day while working her magic.

Top Hobby: Cooking, Baking, and going to the gym!

Spirit Animal: Eagle

Favorite drink (other than a Mimosa): Sour Amaretto- she’s a little sour sometimes, but very sweet :)

The basics: Lilli’s life partner, Graeme is the bookkeeping guru that keeps all of your paperwork and payments in good order along with helping out on site occasionally and building custom event pieces.
